Onderzoekers van de KU Leuven hebben baanbrekende waterstofpanelen ontwikkeld die wereldwijd hoge ogen gooien. Een aantal van die panelen staat sinds kort op het groendak van het Fluxys-laboratorium in Anderlecht. Opzet: de handen in elkaar slaan om een jaar lang uitvoerige testen te doen.
De raad van bestuur van Fluxys Belgium NV heeft de eer de aandeelhouders van de vennootschap uit te nodigen om de gewone en buitengewone algemene vergaderingen bij te wonen die worden gehouden op dinsdag 13 mei 2025 vanaf 14.30 uur in het BNP Event Center, Koningsstraat 20 te 1000 Brussel.

Toelichting bij de markante feiten in het eerste semester van 2025 en de impact ervan op de financiële toestand van Fluxys Belgium.
In aanwezigheid van Hare Koninklijke Hoogheid Prinses Astrid werd een gezamenlijke verklaring over koolstofarme waardeketens ("de Verklaring van Oslo"), ondertekend door Fluxys en 13 grote industriële groepen, North Sea Port en Port of Antwerp-Bruges, overhandigd aan de Belgische beleidsmakers. In deze verklaring benadrukken de ondertekenaars het belang van koolstofafvang, -transport, -gebruik en -opslag ("CCUS") om de uitdagingen van het koolstofarm maken van de economie aan te gaan en dringen ze er bij de beleidsmakers op aan om de nodige beleidsinstrumenten in te voeren.
OQ Gas Networks SAOG (OQGN), de exclusieve eigenaar en operator van het aardgasvervoersnet in Oman, heeft de ondertekening aangekondigd van een 'Term Sheet Cooperation Agreement' met Fluxys, de in België gevestigde internationale energie-infrastructuurgroep, om samen de infrastructuur voor waterstofvervoer te ontwikkelen in het Sultanaat van Oman, waar Fluxys, naast OQGN, eigenaar en operator van het waterstofnet wil worden als minderheidsaandeelhouder.
Creos Luxembourg, Fluxys hydrogen in België en GRTgaz in Frankrijk kondigen aan dat het grensoverschrijdende waterstofinfrastructuurproject HY4Link wordt opgenomen in het Europese ontwikkelingsplan van het waterstofnet, een eerste stap om een Project of Common Interest te worden. In het licht van deze aankondiging hebben de partners een Memorandum of Understanding ondertekend om hun samenwerking voor grensoverschrijdende waterstofinfrastructuur te intensiveren.
De waterstofnetwerkbeheerders Creos Luxembourg Hydrogen, Fluxys hydrogen en NaTran kondigen aan dat HY4Link, hun gezamenlijke grensoverschrijdende initiatief voor het vervoer van waterstof, door de Europese Commissie de status van Project van Gemeenschappelijk Belang (“Project of Common Interest” - PCI) heeft gekregen. Dit is een belangrijke mijlpaal voor de ontwikkeling van het project en voor de “Grande Région”.

Tijdens het eerste semester van 2019 steeg het aantal schepen die bij de LNG-terminal Zeebrugge aanmeerden met 123% ten opzichte van dezelfde periode in 2018. Fluxys Belgium ziet ook een markante stijging in het aantal geladen LNG-tankwagens.
Extensive inspections on TENP I (Trans Europa Naturgas Pipeline), one of the two natural gas transmission pipelines of the dual gas transmission system from Bocholtz (on the German/Dutch border) to Wallbach (on the German/Swiss border), have revealed corrosion defects, as published by Open Grid Europe GmbH (OGE) and Fluxys TENP GmbH (Fluxys TENP), the transmission system operators of the TENP (Trans Europa Naturgas Pipeline) pipeline System, on 27th September 2017.
The delivery period runs from 1 January 2020, 06:00 hours, for an indefinite period.
