22/11/2019The climate target to reduce CO2 emissions in Belgium by 80% by 2050 compared to 2005 levels is a major challenge. Hydrogen has an important role to play in the mix of solutions to achieve results. That is why Deme, Engie, Exmar, Fluxys, Port of Antwerp, Port of Zeebrugge and WaterstofNet are joining forces. A joint study serves as a basis to coordinate delivery of concrete projects that shape the production, transport and storage of hydrogen.

05/11/2019In order to ensure the security of supply needs resulting from the NDP 2018, OGE and Fluxys TENP in their function as shareholders of TENP KG, had decided to start building a new pipeline section between Mittelbrunn-Schwanheim and Hügelheim-Tannenkirch, as well as the necessary connections to the TENP II pipeline. The measures were included in the NDP 2018.

Fluxys in Belgium
Fluxys Belgium is responsible for the operation and maintenance of over 4,000 kilometers of pipelines throughout Belgium, the gas storage site in Loenhout and the liquefied natural gas terminal in Zeebrugge.
