Projects being prepared
For each pipeline project, first a route is meticulously mapped out. A wide-ranging consultation is then planned in the permitting phase. Owners and operators of land affected by the project are consulted on various occasions so that the features of their land can be taken on board.
Working in agricultural, woodland and hunting areas
Fluxys Belgium lays most of its pipelines in agricultural areas and its work site areas can also traverse or adjoin hunting areas or woodlands. In a spirit of good neighbourly relations, Fluxys Belgium has concluded agreements with various organisations to organise compensation payments while treating everyone equally.
