Een groep van elf Europese gasinfrastructuurbedrijven waaronder Fluxys Belgium hebben een plan uitgewerkt voor een specifieke waterstof-vervoersinfrastructuur. Uit nieuw onderzoek blijkt dat bestaande gasinfrastructuur kan worden aangepast om waterstof betaalbaar te vervoeren.
Vandaag heeft het Gas for Climate consortium zijn paper over regelgeving rond waterstof gepubliceerd. Het document bundelt de visie van 11 gasvervoersnetbeheerders over de manier waarop EU-wetgeving kan helpen in heel Europa een specifieke waterstofleidingeninfrastructuur te bouwen.
Antwerp@C, een initiatief van Air Liquide, BASF, Borealis, ExxonMobil, INEOS, TotalEnergies, Fluxys en Port of Antwerp heeft de ambitie om de inspanningen van de industrie te ondersteunen om de CO2 uitstoot in de Antwerpse haven richting 50% te verminderen tegen 2030 door de bouw van een gemeenschappelijke CO2-infrastructuur. Met de start van de engineering bereikt het project nu een nieuwe mijlpaal op weg naar duurzamere, koolstofarmere productie in de haven van Antwerpen.
Fluxys, een onafhankelijke energie-infrastructuurgroep en Advario, een toonaangevende leverancier van tankopslag en infrastructuuroplossingen, werken aan de volgende fase van hun gezamenlijke koolstofarme ammoniakterminalproject in de haven van Antwerpen.
In their capacities as Swiss Transmission System Operators, FluxSwiss and Swissgas are willing to inform market players in Switzerland about the expected 2020 maintenances on adjacent pipeline systems which are going to affect the Swiss import capacity.

Fluxys en OQGN ondertekenden vandaag een Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) om de strategische samenwerking te verkennen bij de ontwikkeling van waterstof- en CO2-infrastructuurprojecten in Oman. Vandaag vond ook de eerste notering plaats van OQGN-aandelen op de Muscat Stock Exchange in Oman. In het kader van de beursgang van OQGN heeft Fluxys als “anchor investor” een belang van 4,9% genomen in OQGN.

Brussel, 5 februari 2019 - Fluxys en Titan LNG slaan de handen in mekaar voor de bouw van FlexFueler 002, een bunkeringponton om vloeibaar aardgas (LNG) als scheepsbrandstof ruimer beschikbaar te maken in de Antwerpse haven en regio. Het ponton gaat in de tweede helft van 2020 in gebruik en zal de scheepvaart ondersteunen in de omschakeling naar een schoner emissieprofiel. Titan LNG wordt de langetermijn-operator van het ponton.
Het project Antwerp@C mikt erop om met toepassingen voor het afvangen en hergebruiken of opslaan van CO2 op redelijk korte termijn en tegen draagbare kosten CO2 uit de atmosfeer te houden en daarmee een belangrijke bijdrage te leveren tot de klimaatdoelstellingen. Deze week dienden Fluxys, Port of Antwerp, Total en Air Liquide Europese subsidiedossiers in om opnieuw een stap verder te zetten in het project.
The subscription window for LNG services at the Zeebrugge LNG Terminal held from 30 April to 24 May 2019 has seen a positive outcome. Fluxys LNG will now submit the required regulatory documents to Belgian federal energy regulator CREG.
