Tien partners waaronder Fluxys geven het startschot voor het North-C-Methanol project in het Gentse deel van North Sea Port. Het project mikt op een infrastructuur van wereldklasse om jaarlijks de CO2-emissie met 140.000 ton te verminderen en 44.000 ton groene methanol aan te maken als grondstof voor de lokale industrie en als brandstof voor schepen en treinen.
Onze strategie is on the move. Een goed voorbeeld hiervan is het project in Wallonië waarin onze onderneming een sleutelrol gaat spelen. Het draait hierbij om de circulaire economie: hoe CO2 van een industriebedrijf in de Luikse regio deel uitmaakt van de productie van betonblokken die lokaal worden gebruikt door de bouwsector.

De LNG-terminal in Zeebrugge vergroot opnieuw zijn bestemmingsflexibiliteit. Deze week kwam voor het eerst een klant een LNG-container laden op de terminal voor vervoer per spoor vanuit de haven. Dat verlaagt emissies en vergroot de bestemmingsflexibiliteit.
Op vrijdag 8 juli meerde in Duinkerke op de nieuwe terminal voor vloeibaar aardgas (LNG) het eerste LNG-schip aan. Daarmee gaat de industriële ingebruikneming van de installaties van start.
Als partner in de Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) is Fluxys verheugd aan te kondigen dat de pijpleiding commercieel in gebruik is genomen. Daarmee is nu 4 en een half jaar na de start van de aanleg een bijkomende energieroute naar Europa opengegaan.
CO₂-opvang en -hergebruik/opslag (CCUS) is essentieel voor de industrie om zijn transitiedoelstellingen te bereiken, vooral voor moeilijk te verduurzamen sectoren zoals staal, petrochemie, cement en kalkproductie. Fluxys Belgium, Pipelink en Air Liquide bundelen hun krachten in ‘Fluxys c-grid Antwerp,’ een joint venture die een CO₂-pijpleidingnetwerk zal bouwen en exploiteren in het Antwerpse havengebied om industriële spelers te verbinden met permanente ondergrondse opslagoplossingen.

The specific biogas levy will be charged in addition to the tariffs of exit points to directly connected end users and to downstream network operators. Exit points to storages, cross-border interconnection points and market area interconnection points are not taken into account in accordance with Section 7 KoV IX (main part). For the calendar year 2018 the nationwide standard specific biogas levy amounts to 0.00187515 €/kWh/h/d. This corresponds to an annual value of approx. 0.68443 €/kWh/h/a. BEATE multipliers are not applied on the specific biogas levy.

Fluxys LNG is offering a Slot to unload, store and regasify a LNG cargo in the Zeebrugge LNG Terminal, starting on 12 July 2023.
For this cargo, Fluxys LNG has upgraded the standard Slot size and commercializes as a bundle the firm rights to unload, store and regasify up to 165 000 m³ LNG over 10 days.
Following a significant growth in the truck loading activities at the Zeebrugge terminal, Fluxys LNG has already taken several actions to maximize the truck loading offer and its utilisation. Fluxys LNG has for example implemented scheduling congestion rules in the regulatory documents and is investing in four new self-loading bays.
Fluxys LNG has 1 remaining Stand Alone Berthing Right (“SABR”) on sale for October 2023.
The SABR is offered for the period starting on the 1st of October 2023 and ending on the 31st of October 2023 and allocated on a first committed first served basis.
