PRISMA Yearly Auction on 1 July 2019: important information regarding the capacity offer at the cross border interconnection points on TENP
Fluxys TENP GmbH (Fluxys TENP) and Open Grid Europe GmbH (OGE) would hereby like to provide all interested parties with the following information related to the yearly capacity auction on PRISMA to be held on 01 July 2019:
Current TENP-I Situation
In the currently ongoing maintenance measure No. 21019101 the investigations of the remaining TENP-I sections are proceeding. OGE and Fluxys TENP, as prudent operators and as they did in the yearly capacity auction of 2018, will commercialise as from 01 October 2019 only the capacity at the entry point Bocholtz and the exit point Wallbach that can be ensured, taking into account a prolonged out-of-operations of TENP-I. In this context, the investments resulting from the German Network Development Plan Gas 2018-2028 (NDP 2018) will be considered.
Maintenance in summer 2020
The final phase of the construction works for measure n°307-01 (“GDRM-Anlage Mittelbrunn”) in the framework of the Network Development Plan Gas 2016-2026 (NDP 2016) will be completed during summer 2020.
Similar to the maintenance measure No. 21020875, the physical gas transfer between the TENP and MEGAL pipeline systems will be restricted during spring and summer 2020. Fluxys TENP and OGE, together with their partner GRTgaz Deutschland GmbH, are preparing and planning the necessary actions in order to reduce the capacity impact related to these construction works as much as possible. Information about work planning and potential capacity impact are expected to be available in Q4 2019. As a precautionary measure, Fluxys TENP and OGE will reduce their (b)FZK capacity offer in the yearly auction of 01 July 2019 for gas year 2019/2020 (transport period 01 October 2019 – 01 October 2020) at the entry point Bocholtz and exit point Wallbach. Interruptible products for this period will be offered anyway. Fluxys TENP and OGE will continue to duly and timely inform the market about any new development regarding the above-mentioned measures, also in preparation of the upcoming quarterly auctions.

Capacity marketing on VIP
In the framework of the introduction of the Virtual Interconnection Points (VIP), Fluxys TENP and OGE would like to remind interested parties once again of the following: Available capacities at the border between Germany and Switzerland will be commercialized exclusively by Fluxys TENP on the newly established VIP Germany-CH (EIC: 21Z0000000004960). The capacities auctioned at this VIP will be the sum of the capacities of Fluxys TENP and OGE.
Available capacities at the border between NetConnect Germany (NCG) and Belgium will be commercialized exclusively by OGE on the newly established VIP Belgium-NCG (EIC: 21Z000000000497Z). The capacities auctioned at this VIP will be the sum of the capacities of Fluxys TENP, Thyssengas GmbH and OGE. The auctioning of entry and exit capacities of Fluxys TENP at the IP Bocholtz is not affected by the introduction of VIP.
Fluxys TENP would like to take the opportunity to remind not yet registered customers who are interested in booking capacities with OGE on the VIP Belgium-NCG to start the registration process on PRISMA for the area of OGE as soon as possible. Customers already registered with OGE do not need to register once again.

Additionally, Fluxys TENP invites interested customers to execute a communication test for nominations with the respective Transmission System Operator.
