Fluxys Belgium : Loenhout Underground Storage - New Storage Auction Window for Additional Volume and Priority Booster Capacity
Following operational optimization of Loenhout’s underground storage facility, Additional Volume is offered to the market through a storage auction as well as Priority Booster Capacity consisting of interruptible injection and withdrawal rights.

The Auction Window will take place from 27 February 2024 at 08:00 CET to 5 March 2024 at 12:00 CET.
Products on Offer
Fluxys Belgium is auctioning the following Storage Services:
- Additional Volume : 1 218 000 MWh for the Storage Year 2024-2025
- PBC Injection (interruptible) : 549 MWh/h for April to October 2024
- PBC Injection (interruptible) : 773 MWh/h for November 2024 to March 2025
- PBC Withdrawal (interruptible) : 1 027 MWh/h for April to October 2024
- PBC Withdrawal (interruptible) : 730 MWh/h for November to December 2024
- PBC Withdrawal (interruptible) : 670 MWh/h for January to March 2025
The reserve price is indicated in the Terms and Conditions.
How do you participate?
To participate in the auction and submit a bid you need to:
- Read and sign the Terms and Conditions
- Fill in and sign the Auction Form
- Send both documents to info.storage@fluxys.com by Tuesday 5 March 2024 before 12:00 CET
Note that in order to take part in this Auction Window, you need to have signed a Standard Storage Agreement (SSA).
