In accordance with the decree on the transport of carbon dioxide via pipelines in the Walloon Region dated 28 March 2024, the Walloon Government today, on the proposal of Walloon Minister of Energy Cécile Neven, appointed Fluxys c-grid as the operator responsible for the development and management of a CO₂ transport network in Wallonia.

A recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between FluxSwiss, Transitgas, OGE, Fluxys TENP and Snam, marks a significant step towards enhancing hydrogen supply in Central Europe. During the first half of 2019, the number of ships docking at the Zeebrugge LNG terminal rose by 123% compared to the same period in 2018. Fluxys Belgium is also seeing a sharp increase in the number of LNG trucks loaded.
Extensive inspections on TENP I (Trans Europa Naturgas Pipeline), one of the two natural gas transmission pipelines of the dual gas transmission system from Bocholtz (on the German/Dutch border) to Wallbach (on the German/Swiss border), have revealed corrosion defects, as published by Open Grid Europe GmbH (OGE) and Fluxys TENP GmbH (Fluxys TENP), the transmission system operators of the TENP (Trans Europa Naturgas Pipeline) pipeline System, on 27th September 2017.
The delivery period runs from 1 January 2020, 06:00 hours, for an indefinite period.
