Given the importance of the cross-border BBL-pipeline within the energy transition, Fluxys and Gasunie have jointly agreed to purchase co-owner Uniper’s 20% stake in the pipeline company. Fluxys now holds 25% and Gasunie 75% of BBL. This transaction took place after Gasunie and Fluxys executed their pre-emption rights. BBL company owns and operates a 235-kilometer bi-directional gas pipeline between Balgzand in the Netherlands and Bacton in Great Britain.

Fluxys TENP GmbH is tendering natural gas (H-gas) for two delivery corridors: 12 August 2024, 06:00 hours, to 1 October 2024, 06:00 hours (17,163 MWh) and 11 November 2024, 06:00 hours, to 31 December 2024, 06:00 hours (9,634 MWh).
The exact delivery period and the hourly delivery quantities will be communicated by Fluxys TENP to the supplier in good time.

The prequalification phase for this tender ends on 21 June 2024 at 14:00 hours.
Fluxys Belgium offers the market the possibility to give a strong signal that the amount of capacity from Belgium to France is still needed by subscribing these capacities during the yearly auctions of July 2024 in the long-term. Therefor, for the capacity subscriptions for period GY2027/2028 until GY2038/39, Fluxys Belgium will only accept and allocated long-term subscriptions, meaning subscriptions for a duration of at least 10 consecutive years.
