Interconnector Commodity Charge for Gas Year 2020-21
Interconnector uses natural gas and electricity within the Interconnector transportation system as fuel gas for compressors and heaters at Bacton, to replace gas lost through shrinkage and to power the compressors at Zeebrugge. You will be charged a commodity charge based on your entry allocations. (See IAC Section F paragraph 9.)
The relevant Charging Statement sets out the formulae for calculating the unit costs to apply in each month.
Commodity Unit Cost (Bacton) in p/kWh = 0.0001452 * ICE (M+1) NBP (p/th)
Commodity Unit Cost (Zeebrugge) in p/kWh = 0.0068243 + [0.0002252 * ICE (M+1) NBP (p/th)]
Current Commodity Charges
The commodity unit costs for the following month will be calculated and fixed on the first business day of each month using the most recently available data.
