We have put some of the most frequently asked questions about coronavirus from our network users into a handy Q&A overview. What are the communication channels with Fluxys Deutschland ?
Our business continuity planning ensures that we have open channels for timely communication with our customers and stakeholders. You can contact our services as usual by e-mail and by phone. The physical mail gets picked up but we cannot guarantee processing it at the regular speed. Therefore, if your request needs a prompt response, we strongly encourage you to use electronic communication.

Is there an alternative way to forward transport nominations I (or my nomination service provider) am not able to send Edig@s messages anymore ?
Should the nomination platform be unavailable, our service provider GMSL will accept to receive nominations via email. For this, we request our grid users to complete this form with all the necessary information (hours, quantity, IP, counterparty)and send it by email to services@gmsl.co.uk.

In case of emergency all nominations will have to be entered manually. In such a case, may we kindly ask our grid users to nominate flat rates, as far as possible, to restrict re-nominations, and to take into account longer lead times.

Can Fluxys Deutschland suspend network users ?
All measures are in place that the current circumstances of the pandemic do not represent a threat to our system integrity. Should as a consequence of the pandemic a crisis level be proclaimed by the competent authorities, Fluxys and its partners in Germany will take the necessary measures in line with the Plan for Incident Management and will apply the respective provisions described in the General Terms and Conditions and in the Energy Industry Law (EnWG).

COVID-19 – All Fluxys Deutschland essential operations remain active

Despite the major impact of the coronavirus outbreak, the essential services of Fluxys Deutschland will remain operational. As one of the key players in the European gas infrastructure, we are responsible for the energy supply of our customers. Public services, households, hospitals and many industries are in need of our energy supplies, now more than ever.

In this highly sensitive period, we have taken the necessary steps to safeguard the continuity of business operations while keeping everyone safe. For all our gas flows from North to South and East to West, we are carefully complying with the recommendations of German authorities in the field of health and safety. We are also working closely with our TSO partners to adapt to this new situation.

We are proud to be able to ensure a continued stable gas supply for both society and our customers/partners, thanks to the commitment of our dedicated teams and partners.
