The paper presents immediate actions aimed at accelerated scale-up and integration of renewable gases in Europe. If implemented in full, these actions could positively impact Europe’s security of supply, speed up the implementation of climate goals and alleviate part of the energy cost pressure from households and companies.

Ten partners including Fluxys are launching the North-C-Methanol project in the Ghent part of North Sea Port. The project aims at a world-class infrastructure to reduce CO2 emissions by 140,000 tonnes annually and to produce 44,000 tonnes of green methanol as feedstock for local industry and as fuel for ships and trains.
Fluxys' strategy is on the move. The latest example of that is a project in Wallonia in which our company is set to play a pivotal role. This time, it's all about the circular economy, and how CO2 from an industrial plant in the Liège region could be used to make concrete blocks for use in local construction.
