Fluxys LNG - Recondenser Liquefaction Short Term Capacity Q3 2026 on sale via Auction
Following the modification of the biomethane liquefaction services at the Zeebrugge LNG Terminal, Fluxys LNG will organize the sale of Recondenser Liquefaction Short Term Capacity for Q3 2026 on July 15th 2026 10h (CEST).
The offered capacity is 271 503 MWh/quarter (HHV).
For the period 14/12/2025 to 13/12/2026, the emission from processing of recondenser liquefaction has been calculated at 0.28 gCO2eq/MJ, a conservative Low Heating Value (LHV) to High Heating Value (HHV) ratio has been fixed to 0.90117 and the gas loss factor for conversion remains at 0.13 kJ/MJ.
The auction will start at 10h CEST (Belgian time) and will take place via the following dedicated Auction Website.
Terminal users interested by this capacity shall take into consideration previous communication related to potential reduction or interruption of Reverse Nominations and Backhaul Liquefaction Services at the LNG Terminal as of August 2026.

Please note that prior to take part in this Auction, you need to have signed the LNG Terminalling Agreement (LTA) and be certified under ISCC EU as “trader with storage” or under another EU recognised voluntary scheme which is compatible for Biomethane and Bio-LNG with the Processing Unit role of Fluxys LNG under ISCC EU.

If you have already signed our T&C - LNG Auctions version July 2023, and you want to participate in the upcoming auction, please provide us by July 14th 12h CEST (noon) with:
- Which Bidder will represent your company in the Auction, note that only this (principal) Bidder will be accepted to take part in the Auction,
- If you wish to add a new Bidder for your company which is not yet registered, send us a signed version of Schedule 1 T&Cs – Power of Attorney,
- In case of any changes on the company's official Power of Attorney, proving that the signatories of the above Power of Attorney have the power to act on behalf of your company, also a new version of your company's official Power of Attorney.
If you have not signed the current version of our T&C - LNG Auctions version July 2023, please inform and send us by July 14th 12h CEST (noon):
- Duly signed Form of Acknowledgement (page 1) together with the other pages of these Terms & Conditions ("T&C LNG Auctions") initialed from page 0 to page 7 included,
- A signed version of Schedule 1 T&Cs – Power of Attorney,
- The company's official Power of Attorney, proving that the signatories of the above Power of Attorney have the power to act on behalf of your company,
- Which Bidder will represent your company in the Auction, note that only this (principal) Bidder will be accepted to take part in the Auction.
On July 14th, Fluxys LNG will confirm whether Participant to the Terms & Conditions is admitted.

How will the Recondenser Liquefaction Short Term Capacity Q3 2026 be allocated?
The Recondenser Liquefaction Short Term Capacity Q3 2026 will be allocated via the Ascending Clock Algorithm:
- The starting price is the regulated tariff for Recondenser Liquefaction. Find the regulated tariff for Recondenser Liquefaction and other LNG services here. The Major Price Step is by default 0.5 €/MWh, the Minor Price Step is by default 0.1 €/MWh,
- The duration of 1 Round is 3 minutes and between 2 Rounds there is a duration of 2 minutes,
- The allocation mechanism is described here. Note it has been modified compared to the last long-term auction introducing a linear interpolation algorithm based on the two last rounds.
