Market Consultation: Fluxys c-grid Network Development Plan 2026-2035
Fluxys c-grid hereby published its development plan for the rollout of CO₂ transport infrastructure across both the Flemish and Walloon Regions. The plan is based on the current market intelligence and concerns the development of infrastructure in a rapidly evolving market and is therefore expected to further evolve in the coming years.
The plan was prepared in coordination with the relevant regional authorities:
- Flemish authorities: The Flemish Minister for Housing, Climate, Energy, Tourism and Youth, VEKA, and VNR.
- Walloon authorities: The Walloon Minister for Energy, Air & Climate Plan, Housing and Airports and the CWaPE.
And was submitted for consultation to interested market stakeholders.
The consultation was organised in accordance with the regulatory frameworks applicable to CO₂ transport by pipeline in the Flemish and Walloon Regions. It should be noted that in Wallonia, the draft decree of the Walloon Government establishing the procedure for drafting, approving and publishing the development plan, including provisions for public consultation, has been adopted in a first reading and is expected to be formally approved in the near future.
