Fluxys Belgium - Opening of an Auction Window for Additional Volume and Priority Booster Capacity for the remainder of the Storage Year 2026-2027
Fluxys Belgium is pleased to announce the opening of an Auction Window for 500.000 MWh of "Additional Volume” alongside Priority Booster Capacity consisting of interruptible injection and withdrawal rights for the remainder of the Storage Year 2026-2027.
The Auction Window will take place from Friday 25 September 2026 at 10:00 AM CEST to Wednesday 30 September 2026 at 10:00 AM CEST.
Following the outcomes of Market Consultation 73 held in May 2026 and the adaptation of the Access Code for Storage, the possibility to offer Additional Services was introduced, based on the optimisation of the Storage Installation and/or the availability of unsold Storage Services.Accordingly, considering the unsold firm bundled capacities for the remainder of the current Storage Year, Fluxys Belgium is able to create those Additional Services, namely the Additional Volume and the Priority Booster Capacity.

For avoidance of doubt, this Additional Volume is not considered as a Seasonal Storage Service as defined in Attachment 3 of the Standard Storage Agreement.
Consequently, the article 2.7.4 of Attachment D1 of the Access Code for Storage, Gas In Storage on 1 December or “Filling Target Rule”, does not apply to this service.

How can you subscribe?
To participate in the auction and submit a bid you need to:
1. Read the Terms and Conditions
2. Fill in and sign the Auction Form
3. Send the signed Auction form to info.storage@fluxys.com by Wednesday 30 September 2026 at 10:00 AM CEST at the latest.
Note that in order to take part in this Auction Window, you need to have signed a Standard Storage Agreement (SSA).
