Control Systems and Instrumentation Engineer
Working within a multi-disciplined Engineering Team, the successful candidate will provide assistance in Control Systems and Instrumentation engineering in support of projects and operational issues arising at the sites. Manage and lead the delivery of assigned projects. Control, maintain and develop project and department plans, schedules, standards, procedures and other management control documents.
This role is based out of our London office. Note that at the current time, where it is possible, employees are working remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
We are looking to recruit a Regulatory Analyst who will support the Regulatory Affairs Manager in taking forward IUK’s regulatory agenda, with a particular focus on the European and GB Network Code/legislative developments and their impact on IUK’s business. Understanding, anticipating and where possible shaping these regulatory requirements is key for the continued success of the company.
This role is based in the Interconnector London office (remotely based currently due to Covid-19) and is full time and permanent although there is some flexibility available in terms of occasional home working and start and end times to suit business and personal circumstances.
Working within a multi-disciplined Maintenance team, you will safely maintain mechanical equipment and systems. You will also prepare plant and equipment for maintenance activities as defined within the maintenance procedures which you will be capable of reviewing.
The position also requires the post holder to carry out their duties within the company’s Permit to Work system and safety management systems, processes and procedures. As a Mechanical Technician you work in dayshifts, Monday to Friday with some ad-hoc overtime working. Flexibility is required to help maintain a 24/7/365 operation. You will be based at our Gas Compression Terminal and associated Pressure Let Down facilities at the Bacton Gas Terminal, North Norfolk, England.
Day Shift Operator
Working within the Operations Team you will carry out a wide range of operational duties in support of the Shift Engineers and Operations department. You will also assist with managing day to day activities relating to Safe Systems of Work and its associated processes on a rotational basis.
This is a key position within the team and the successful candidate will help to drive a strong Safety culture and to promote the companies Health, Safety and Environmental goals. As a Day Shift Operator, you will work Day Shifts Monday to Friday and will be based at our Gas Compression Terminal and associated Pressure Let Down facilities at the Bacton Gas Terminal, North Norfolk, England.
