About Fluxys TENP GmbH

Fluxys TENP GmbH is transmission system operator in the TENP pipeline and commercializes approx. 64 % of the system’s capacity. We offer our services from our office in Düsseldorf. As a Fluxys group company it is our mission to enhance security of supply and market liquidity by promoting cross-border gas flows and transfers..

The TENP pipeline makes gas flow from the North to the South of Europe and a project is underway to make the infrastructure bi-directional so as to enable South to North movements. With a view to enhancing security of supply and interconnecting trading places the Fluxys group fully backs the future investments to make the system bi-directional.
In September 2011 the Fluxys group agreed with Eni to acquire the latter’s interests in the TENP and Transitgas (Switzerland) pipelines. The transaction was closed on 30 November 2011. The Fluxys group acquired Eni’s stakes in the asset owners of the TENP and Transitgas pipelines (49% in TENP KG and 46% in Transitgas AG). The Fluxys group also acquired Eni’s interests as Transmission System Operator in both assets, including the rights to commercialize approx. 64 % of capacity in the TENP pipeline and 90% of capacity in the Transitgas pipeline.
