  • Zeebrugge can store 386.000 m³ of LNG. Several types of storage are available depending on your needs or activities :

Basic storage capacity

  • Ideal to store 140.000 m³ of unloaded LNG
  • Included in an unloading slot
  • Basic storage period = 40 consecutive tides (10.3 days)
  • Basic storage volume = 140.000 m³ of LNG (decreasing linearly over time)

Additional storage capacity

  • Store up to 36.000 m³ of LNG
  • In the long term (multiannual)
  • In addition to basic storage capacity

This storage capacity is sold on a long-term basis up to October 2023.

Residual storage capacity

  • Store up to 30.000 m³ of LNG
  • In the medium term (one month before the service)
  • In addition to additional storage capacity

Daily storage capacity – Gas excess

Reserve Unused capacity on a daily basis.

Visit the Electronic Data Platform (EDP) to reserve the quantity you need, when you need it, subject to availability.

Transshipment storage capacity

  • Store up to 180.000 m³ of LNG
  • Ideal if you need to store your LNG a few days before reloading this LNG onto another LNG carrier (at a rate of 10.000 m³/h).

This storage capacity is sold on a long-term basis up to 2039.
