Our staff: the driving force behind the company
Fluxys currently has approximately 1,200 skilled staff, 30% of whom have been hired within the past five years. As such, the company faces the challenge of integrating these new arrivals into existing teams to ensure a seamless transfer of knowledge and to shore the expertise of all our staff. Fluxys' HR policy therefore focuses not only on recruitment but also on retaining our existing human capital, promoting job mobility within the company and further enhancing the skills and knowledge of our staff. Fluxys' staff are the driving force behind the company and Fluxys is thus keen to provide them with the best possible working environment.
A dynamic career path
Fluxys is keen to offer its staff exciting career prospects and encourages job mobility, be that in the form of an upward promotion or a sideways move. To this end, vacancies are initially advertised internally to give existing staff the opportunity to apply, while in the case of restructuring within the company every effort is made to ensure that each individual's skills and expertise are put to the best possible use. In 2010, some 7.5% of Fluxys staff were given the opportunity to take on a new role within the company.
