Fluxys and GRTgaz: market consultation with a view to developing firm transmission capacity from France to Belgium
Fluxys and GRTgaz are committed to promoting the efficiency and fluidity of the North-Western European gas market. To this end, the two companies jointly launched a market consultation process to assess the level of demand for long-term transmission capacity from France to Belgium.
The market consultation is launched in response to market signals indicating such interest and constitutes a valuable opportunity to strengthen the interconnection between transmission networks, security of supply and market liquidity in Europe.

Stakeholders invited to provide feedback on Gas Regional Investment plan 2011-2020
The NW European gas transmission system operators (TSOs) have adopted their Gas Regional Investment Plan 2011-2020 (NW GRIP). It is the first edition of this regional statement on long-term gas infrastructure development and stakeholders are kindly invited to give their feedback.
The NW GRIP 2011-2020 provides shippers with an outlook on potential new capacities as it gives an overview of future TSO projects with an impact on capacity, either at the internal borders within the region or at entry points into the region where gas is directly imported from outside the EU.
The Gas Regional Initiative Northwest unites 15 gas TSOs in 9 countries: Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Republic of Ireland, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
