Round-the-clock control and monitoring by the central dispatching office
A dispatching office is to natural gas transmission what an air traffic control tower is to an airport. Fluxys dispatchers in the dispatching office control and monitor natural gas flows on the Fluxys grid 24 hours a day. The dispatching office also has a coordinating role when a gas smell, an incident or an accident is reported.

Intervention Centre always ready
If an incident occurs in the grid, Fluxys’ technicians and specially trained welders are ready 24 hours a day to immediately go to the site to make repairs.
On stand-by at any time
Over 300 staff are on stand-by at both Fluxys headquarters and its regional operating sectors to take immediate action should technical problems occur or a gas smell be reported.
Practical experience of crisis management
Fluxys has competent teams to manage and control crisis situations resulting from incidents or accidents with natural gas transmission infrastructure. Members of these teams have received special crisis management training. They are regularly invited to participate in crisis exercises.
