A Fluxys pipeline nearby

For transmission of natural gas through Belgium, Fluxys only uses underground pipelines. The Fluxys grid covers more than 4,000 kilometres of pipelines.

A Fluxys pipeline does not change how a plot of land is zoned on the spatial implementation plan because the plot can be used just as it was before once the pipeline is laid. However the presence of a pipeline does entail a legal public easement: any activity near a pipeline that could damage the infrastructure or its operation is prohibited.
